Personal data

The following applies to processing of personal data: Nexus Advokater ApS is responsible for processing of the personal data we receive. The purpose of processing personal data is to perform the best possible case handling. The legal basis (authority) for our processing of personal data is described in the letter of engagement. The categories of data that we keep are: General: e.g. name and contact details in relation to general case handling; Confidential: e.g. civil registration number in relation to registration of property; or Sensitive: e.g. data concerning health in relation to personal injury cases. We disclose or pass on personal data to external parties e.g. courts of law, Boards of Appeal, opposing parties to the extent estimated to be necessary in order to perform a correct case handling.

The General Data Protection Regulation provides for a range of rights in relation to our processing of personal data. If you wish to exercise your rights, you have to contact us. You have the right of inspection and right to correction, i.e. you can at any time see all the data entered in our platform and correct/update the data.You have the right to erasure, i.e. you always have access to erase data. We delete all data after 5 years unless we estimate that it is necessary to keep the data for a longer period for accounting, legal or ethical purposes. The information is deleted at the latest when any claims pertaining to the law of property have been time-barred; however, also subject to the Code of Conduct for the Danish Bar and Law Society.

You have a right to limitation of processing. I.e. you can control any limitation of processing since. you manage all user privileges yourself. You have right of access, i.e. in certain cases you have the right to object to our otherwise legal processing of personal data. You have the right to transmit data (data portability). This means that you can receive your data at any time.
